get back there, except for this trip next summer. Grew up in Minot, along with Billings, and Bismarck. In second grade I won a contest at edison elementary, and the prize was a tiny tree, about the size of a pencil. So in charlie brown fashion, i loved it up, and when we moved from there 6 years later it must have been 35 feet tall and very much thriving. So I thought it would be good to swing through Bismarck to see the 'ol highschool, then Minot to see the tree. I honestly can't imagine any other time i'd be in that hellhole, um, i mean, my humble homeland. Each year we go to Fargo/Moorhead for thanksgiving, and that is plenty.
