I've done Manitowoc to Hartforn CT in one stretch---about 18 hours including a 3 hour delay in PA for construction. In September I went from just west of Glendive back home in one shot. Learned the lyrics to just about every country tune on the way.
Roger that on the deer. In September I took I-15 at Shelby down to Butte then east on the I rather than do US 2 at night just because of the deer.
