If you don't mind driving a little extra, airfare and rental cars may be a lot less expensive out of Spokane, WA. We were just there recently.
Or, do you have any discounts? Avis gives fantastic discounts if you belong to Sams or Costco. And most companies offer AAA and AARP discounts, although they are small.
